HOW TO USE:
- Ensure the engine block and mounting surfaces are clean and free of debris.
- If using a windage tray, modify a GM “F-body” windage tray (GM P/N 12558253) to clear the pickup tube.
- Install the pickup tube onto the oil pump.
- Apply a suitable gasket or sealant to the oil pan flange.
- Position the FiTech 130103 oil pan onto the engine block and align the bolt holes.
- Install and tighten the oil pan bolts to the manufacturer’s specified torque.
- Install a compatible oil filter (e.g., AC Delco PF48).
- Add the appropriate amount of oil to the engine (6.1 quarts total, including filter).
- Check for leaks and proper oil level.
