HOW TO USE:

1. Ensure the engine block and mounting surfaces are clean and free of debris.
2. If using a windage tray, modify a GM “F-body” windage tray (GM P/N 12558253) to clear the pickup tube.
3. Install the pickup tube onto the oil pump.
4. Apply a suitable gasket or sealant to the oil pan flange.
5. Position the FiTech 130103 oil pan onto the engine block and align the bolt holes.
6. Install and tighten the oil pan bolts to the manufacturer’s specified torque.
7. Install a compatible oil filter (e.g., AC Delco PF48).
8. Add the appropriate amount of oil to the engine (6.1 quarts total, including filter).
9. Check for leaks and proper oil level.
