HOW TO USE:

1. Connect: Locate your vehicle’s 16-pin OBDII Data Link Connector. This is typically found under the dashboard on the driver’s side. Plug the OBDII connector of the SST-MAX shift light securely into this port.
2. Mount: Choose a suitable location to mount the shift light using the provided adjustable mount. Ensure the LEDs are clearly visible while driving and the cable does not interfere with any vehicle controls. You can use the included double-sided tape or a screw (not included) for mounting.
3. Power On: Start your vehicle. The SST-MAX shift light should power on automatically.
4. Enter Setup Menu: Refer to the product’s manual for the specific button sequence to enter the setup menu using the push buttons. The 3-segment LED display will guide you through the menu options.
5. Set Number of Gears: Navigate to the gear selection option in the menu and set the number of gears your vehicle has.
6. Program Shift Points: For each gear, drive at a steady speed in that gear and then press a designated button to save the current RPM as the shift point for that gear. Repeat this process for all gears.
7. Adjust Brightness: Use the menu options to select your desired brightness level for both daytime and nighttime driving. You can also choose to turn the LEDs OFF.
8. Review Peak RPM (Optional): Access the peak recall function in the menu to view the highest RPM reached in each gear.
9. Launch RPM Setting (Optional): If desired, enter the “Launch” mode in the menu and set your desired launch RPM following the instructions in the product manual.
