HOW TO USE:

1. Read and Test: Always read all directions thoroughly and test the adhesive on a small, inconspicuous area before starting your main repair.
2. Prepare Surfaces: Ensure that the surfaces you intend to bond are completely clean, dry, and free from any dirt, grease, or debris. For the most secure bond, gently roughen the surfaces with sandpaper or an abrasive tool.
3. Open the Tube: Remove the cap and use the pointer cap to puncture the seal at the neck of the tube.
4. Apply Adhesive: Apply Amazing Goop directly and evenly to each of the surfaces that will be bonded or repaired. The product performs best when applied in temperatures between 50°F and 90°F (10°C and 32°C).
5. Allow Partial Cure: After applying, allow the adhesive to partially cure for approximately 2 minutes before bringing the two surfaces together.
6. Mate Surfaces: Mate the adhesive-coated surfaces and apply firm, consistent pressure to ensure full contact between the components. The adhesive forms an immediate bond that is challenging to reposition once surfaces are in contact.
7. Allow to Cure: Allow the bonded repair to cure for at least 24 hours to achieve initial strength. Depending on the specific materials involved and ambient temperature, maximum bond strength may take 48 to 72 hours to develop.
8. Cap Maintenance: To prevent the cap from sticking to the tube after use, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the threads of the tube before securely replacing the cap.
9. Cleanup: For cleaning uncured adhesive, use acetone or citrus-based solvents. Once the adhesive has fully cured, it can only be removed by mechanical means such as cutting or scraping.
